BBQ Chicken Sandwiches | Street Food

I usually make these sandwiches in the morning. I would like to share how easy this recipes is and you can try and make it for your family, especially for your children for breakfast.
  • 6 pcs of brown bread
  • 100 gr of fresh lettuce
  • 2 pcs of tomatoes
  • 1 pcs of onion(sliced)
  • 3 pcs of garlics(sliced)
  • 1 pcs of chicken breast (cut into cubed)
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1 tbsp of tomato paste
  • 20 ml of lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp of barbeque sauce (available in the market)
  • 250 gr of mayonnaise
  • Salt
  • Pepper

    • Heat the pan.
    • Saute the onion and garlic, add the thyme and the chicken and cook until the colour changes.
    • Add the lemon juice, tomatoe paste and bbq sauce.
    • Stir add seasoning with the salt and pepper.
    • Toast the bread with mini toaster.
    • Put the mayonnaise on the bread, arrange the lettuce and tomatoes put the chicken mixture, cover it with another bread. Ready to serve

    Whole wheat brown bread has a nutritional "advantage" over white bread. This is because brown bread made from whole wheat contain more fiber than white bread as well greater amounts of important nutrients. In addition, always select chicken breast (skinless) that is the leanest cut of the chicken and contains minimal amounts of fat.

    I usually use brown bread to make the sandwich it  is healthier full of fiber fiber n less fat for when watching the calories.
