Baked Fish with Tahini Sauce | Main Course

For most Christian religions or sects, fish is not a meat, which is why it's the popular choice on Fridays during lent.Try this baked fish with tahini sauce.
  • 1 large fish fillet
  • 1 garlic clove crushed
  • 1/4 liter tahini or sesame seed oil
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 bunch of parsley, chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste

    • Marinate the fish with salt and pepper for 1 hour.
    • Grease the pan and bake the fish at 180 degrees C.
    • In a food processor, add the tahini sauce, garlic with a pinch of salt.
    • Put the lemon juice, keep on mixing until the sauce is thick. Add water if too thick.
    • Add the parsley and set a side.
    • Allow the fish to cool before you pour the sauce on top.
